One of the scientific discoveries by Zhang Yi,  CEO of ABLife,  selected as one of the 2010 Top 10 Scientific and Technological Achievements

Incorporated on July 7th, Wuhan ABLife Inc. was established by a group of people who concern about the growth of the young and work on realizing the industrialization of life science in China. We concentrate on the research and development of functional genomics, the application and promotion of high-throughput sequencing and the application and development of bioinformatics. We aim at releasing the enormous social value of life science and providing top technological services for our customers to jointly resolve the scientific issues we encounter in biology, medical science and agricultural science in this post-genomic era.

       We have a group of members with creativity and innovative thinking. Among them, some had presided over a number of national major programs, including some “975” and “863” projects approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the Natural Science Foundation. Major research findings are constantly utilized in the technological services in our company. Most importantly, the ariticle—“Genome-wide analysis of PTB binding reveals a strategy used by the general splicing repressor to positively or negatively regulate alternative splicing in mammalian cells” was published as the cover article in Molecular Cell. It is also awarded as China’s Top 10 Scientific and Technological Progress in the year 2010.

At present, we have 39 staffs with 8 PhDs among us. We provide technical services relative to genomics and personalized project design. We now have equipped with first class laboratory for Genome Regulation and Human Heath and Center for Genome Analysis (CGA).
